Littlies by the Lily Pond

Where: Meet at Shelter Pavilion, Parkes Drive, Centennial Park
Description:
A special 11-week program for young children and pre-schoolers (ages 2 to 5 yrs).
Each session will focus on learning about different animals and plants that call the Park their home and includes a craft activity. Come and learn about Screech the Lorikeet or Penelope the Purple Swamp Hen, just to name a few!
This is an opportunity for children and their carers to form new friendships in the community.
The program will run from 10.00 am– 1.00 am on Wednesday mornings for 11 consecutive weeks starting from 29 April 2009.
You can book in for a single session ($11 per child or Friends $9) or for all 11 weeks ($110 per child or Friends $85).
Children must be accompanied by parent/carers.

Description: Did you know that there are about 6,000 different types of bugs in Australia? They are found underground, in the water and in the trees all around Centennial Parklands! Come and learn about the different bugs found in the Parklands and make a bug of your very own to take home.
