Description:
A special 11-week program for young children and pre-schoolers (ages 2 to 5 yrs).
Each session will focus on learning about different animals and plants that call the Park their home and includes a craft activity. Come and learn about Screech the Lorikeet or Penelope the Purple Swamp Hen, just to name a few!
This is an opportunity for children and their carers to form new friendships in the community.
The program will run from 10.00 am– 1.00 am on Wednesday mornings for 11 consecutive weeks starting from 29 April 2009.
You can book in for a single session ($11 per child or Friends $9) or for all 11 weeks ($110 per child or Friends $85).
Children must be accompanied by parent/carers.

Description:
Join qualified Cycling Australia cycling coach, bike educator and personal trainer, Geoff Nash, for a three and a half hour session designed for adults returning to cycling. This course is aimed at people who can already ride a bicycle but need help with skills that will increase their confidence, safety and enjoyment. It will also provide participants with a set of skills that they can take away, practice and incorporate into their everyday cycling.
Specifically, the course will cover starting and stopping skills, scanning and traffic awareness, car clues, proper gear selection, helmet fitting, signalling and etiquette as well as safe cornering and emergency stopping. The training will also be tailored to incorporate skills to help avoid common cycling safety issues within the Park.
Participants will require a bike (in safe working order) and a Standards Australia approved helmet.
